Our main office is located in Lalapet. It’s a place that many people in the area recognize because we’ve been here for so many years. Being a co-operative means we work with a lot of different people from all over. It’s not like a regular private company. Things move a bit differently here. The building is an older one, and it has that government-office feel to it with high ceilings and lots of ceiling fans. There’s always a lot of people coming and going. Some are farmers, some are delivery drivers, and some are just staff members. We deal with a lot of paperwork and coordination to keep the dairy operations running. It’s a big task, and sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming. But we just take it one day at a time. The atmosphere is generally busy but friendly. You’ll often see people standing around in the corridors having a quick chat about the day's work. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just focus on the task at hand, which is managing the dairy federation. Lalapet is a good spot for us, and we’ve become a part of the landscape here. It’s a lot of hard work, but there’s a sense of pride in being part of something that involves so many local people. We keep things simple and practical.
