Anuradha Timber International

Our yard is located at 244, Chinnathokatta, in the New Bowenpally area. At Anuradha Timber International, the first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of raw wood. It is a heavy, earthy scent that sticks to your clothes. We have stacks of timber piled up everywhere, different types and sizes depending on what has come in lately. It’s a big outdoor space and we have to cover everything up when the rain starts. Moving the logs around takes a lot of effort and we use some old machinery to help with the heavy lifting. The ground is usually covered in sawdust and small wood shavings. We’ve been working with timber for years, so we can tell a lot about a piece of wood just by looking at the grain. Customers come in looking for specific cuts for their houses or shops. It’s a lot of manual labor, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy showroom. What you see is just a working timber yard where we cut and store wood. The traffic in New Bowenpally can be a bit much, but we managed to find a good spot for the trucks to turn. We just do our work, talk to the people who stop by, and try to keep the yard organized enough so we can find what we need. It’s honest work and we are happy to stay busy.
