Anees Watch Repairing Centre

This shop is located over in Mehdipatnam, specifically at 11-4-650/7/A. If you know where Mehdi Function Hall is, we are right across from it. I’ve spent a lot of my life sitting at this workbench. It's a small space, but it has everything needed to get a watch running again. People bring in all sorts of things, from cheap plastic watches to ones that have been in the family for generations. I don't use any fancy machines, just my hands and some magnifying glasses. The traffic outside on the main road can be pretty loud, especially when there’s a wedding at the hall. But inside, it’s mostly just the sound of clicking gears. Sometimes I have to tell people their watch is beyond help, but usually, we find a way. It’s not a glamorous job. My hands usually have a bit of oil on them by the end of the day. I grew up learning how these small parts fit together. It takes a lot of patience to deal with tiny screws that you can barely see. We don't do much advertising; people just know where we are. It’s just how things have always been for us here. We don't have a big team, just enough people to keep the shop running while I focus on the repairs.
