Al Noor Furnithure

Al Noor Furnithure is located right near Pillar No 129. If you are driving down that road, you can’t miss the pillar, and we are just right there. We mostly work with wood and some other materials to make basic household items. The shop is often covered in a thin layer of sawdust because we are always cutting or sanding something down. It’s a bit of a messy job, but that is just part of it. We have some finished pieces sitting out so people can see them, like chairs or small tables. It isn’t a big showroom with air conditioning and bright lights. It’s a workshop first and foremost. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the joints fit together right. Sometimes the wood we get isn't perfect, so we have to work around the knots and cracks. It’s just how it is. People from the area stop by when they need a bed frame fixed or a new cupboard made for their kitchen. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The traffic near the pillar is always loud, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the tools and the wood. It’s hard work on the hands, but it’s a good way to earn a living. We just try to make things that last for a decent amount of time. Working with wood is what we do best every day.
