Ajanda Enterprises

If you know Begum Bazaar, you know how busy it stays. Our place, Ajanda Enterprises, is located at 2-17-55 in the Afzal Gunj area. It’s a part of the city that never really stops moving. We have been here for quite some time now. Dealing with the crowd and the narrow lanes is just part of our daily routine. We handle all sorts of things here. Our day starts early because the bazaar gets packed fast. Most of our work involves managing the inventory and making sure the supplies are ready for whoever needs them. It’s not a glamorous office. It’s a working space with boxes and papers everywhere. We don’t spend money on big posters or radio ads. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to Begum Bazaar for years. They know where we are. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon is tough, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the work. We try to be helpful when people ask questions about what we carry. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad in the evening. Afzal Gunj has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. We value the relationships we have with the other shopkeepers around us and just try to stay consistent with our work.
