We are over at 2 22 Shanti Nagar Colony in the Balaji Nagar area. This is part of the Shameerpet Mandal in Hyderabad. It is quite a distance from the main city buzz, which makes it a bit more peaceful than most places. The Shanti Nagar Colony is mostly quiet, except for the occasional street dogs or kids playing outside in the evenings. Our building is a standard house that we converted into an office space. We have a couple of rooms and a small front area where we park our scooters. The walls are painted a dull cream color and we have some old wooden furniture. It is comfortable enough for us to get through the workday. Shameerpet can get very hot, so we rely on the coolers a lot during the summer months. We have a small kitchen area where we boil water for coffee. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the trees near the lines, but we manage. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we don't have to deal with long commutes. It is a simple setup without any corporate feel. We just come in, do the work, and talk about our families during the breaks. There is a small temple down the street that we pass every morning on our way in. It is just a regular local business life for us here in Hyderabad, nothing more and nothing less.
