It is quite a walk from the main part of the station, but Ramanuj Complex isn't too hard to find if you know where you're going. We are at 12/36, which is tucked away a bit inside. I’ve been working here for a few years now, and the routine is basically the same every single morning. I get the keys, open the shutters, and let the air in because it gets a bit stuffy in these complexes. Station Road is always crowded with people rushing to catch their trains, so it’s never really quiet. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. It’s mostly just paperwork and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so, and we just sit outside and talk to the other shop owners. It’s a small space, but we make it work for what we need. We don’t have fancy furniture or big posters on the walls. It’s just a place to do business and get home on time. Most of our regulars are local folks who have been coming to this area for a long time. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful coming up. We try to stay organized, but with so many files, it gets messy sometimes. That's just how a real office looks, I guess.
