Veggie Delite

Veggie Delite is on the first floor of the Shree Niwas Building, which is at 24/25 M A K Azad Road in Howrah. Our pin code is 711101, and we are situated near the Southern Gate. Being on the first floor means it is a little quieter than being right on the street, but you can still hear the city outside. Howrah is a very busy and crowded place, and M A K Azad Road is always full of action. We have a few rooms on the first floor where we set up our kitchen and some tables. It is not a polished or fancy restaurant. We do not have a corporate board or a mission statement. We just wanted to have a place where we could serve vegetarian food. The Shree Niwas Building is a bit old, so there is always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a flickering light. We just handle those things as they come up. We do not do any professional marketing. Most of our customers are people who work in the nearby offices or live in the apartment buildings around the Southern Gate. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors because they usually are. We keep the place running every day, making sure the food is ready and the tables are wiped down. It is just a regular job for us.
