Tripti Caterer

We are located right at 53, Kalitala Lane in Salkia. If you know where the Tarun Dal Club is, then we are basically right across from them. It’s a busy little lane, and things can get pretty crowded when the club has an event going on. Tripti Caterer has been operating out of this spot for a long time. You can usually smell what we are cooking from down the street, especially in the mornings when we start the big pots. The kitchen is where everything happens. It’s hot and there’s always someone moving around with a tray or a bag of supplies. We don’t have a fancy office or a lobby. Most of the time, people just knock on the side door or find us in the back. Salkia is a crowded place, but it’s home for us. We know most of the people living on this lane by name. Sometimes we run out of space for all the crates, so they end up stacked near the entrance. It’s not perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but it still says Tripti Caterer clear enough. We just focus on getting the food ready and making sure it gets where it needs to go on time. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every single day without much fuss.
