If you’re looking for us, we’re out in Balitikuri Kalitala. It’s a place where you can hear the sounds of the local market and the traffic pretty clearly throughout the day. The office is more of a workshop really, with plenty of space for the equipment we use. We don't spend much time on aesthetics here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor has some stains from years of work, but it doesn't get in the way of what we do. We mostly focus on the technical side of things, getting our hands dirty and making sure stuff actually runs. Most of us live nearby, so we’re part of the local fabric. We see the same people every morning at the bus stop or the corner shop. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoons, and the ceiling fans just move the warm air around, but we keep at it. There’s always a pile of paperwork on the main desk that never seems to get smaller, no matter how much we do. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on the bench outside for a few minutes of quiet. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or polished floors. It’s just a place where we come to work and solve problems as they pop up. People around here know they can find us here six days a week.
