Shadia Consultancy Private Limited is situated on the third floor of the building at 53/2 and 53/3 Naskar Para Lane. This is right by the Botanical Garden in Howrah. Being on the third floor, specifically in flat number 03, means we have a bit of a view of the surrounding rooftops. It’s a busy area and the sounds of the traffic from the lane often drift up through the windows. We don't have an elevator that works all the time, so we often end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a couple of rooms filled with desks and stacks of folders that seem to grow every week. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork gets a bit ahead of us. We chose this location because the Botanical Garden is a landmark that everyone knows, making it easier for people to find the general area. We are a small group and we’ve been working together for quite a while. We don't have any expensive art on the walls or plush carpets. It’s mostly just functional furniture and the equipment we need to do our consulting work. Most of us live in Howrah, so the commute isn't too long. We start our days early and usually leave as the sun is going down. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town, and we like the simplicity of it.
