You can find us up on the fourth floor of the building at 545 G T Road South. It’s room number 10, right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of Howrah. Being on the fourth floor means we have to climb some stairs or wait for the lift, which isn't always the fastest thing in the world. But once you get up here, it’s a decent place to work. We are a small group of associates. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees and layers of bosses. We like keeping it small so we actually know what’s going on with every file and every person who walks through the door. The office is a bit crowded with books and folders everywhere. It’s a working office, not a showroom for clients. We spend a lot of time reading and discussing things among ourselves. G T Road is always buzzing, so there is never a dull moment when you look out the window. We’ve been in this specific room for a long time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop working long enough to do it. People come to us when they need help with their paperwork or legal stuff. We just sit down, have a cup of tea, and talk it through. It’s a very human way of doing things. We just do the job and go home.
