Polytech

We've been here at 1/6, Ram Lochan Shire Street for quite a while now. Most people know the Belurmath area is pretty busy, but our little corner is where we get the actual work done. Polytech isn't some huge corporation with a glass building; it’s just us working with various materials and trying to get our daily orders out on time. The street outside gets really crowded with traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing, but once you step inside, the focus is just on the task at hand. Technical jobs of all kinds happen in this space. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit loud, and we spend a lot of our time checking over paperwork or looking at the latest batch of products to make sure they're okay. It’s definitely not a fancy place. There are stacks of boxes and materials almost everywhere you look, and the kettle is usually on in the back for whoever needs a tea break. We know our neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby by their first names. Dealing with technical parts means paying a lot of attention to the small details, which takes up most of our working day. Changing the world isn't really the goal, we just keep the business running. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our old sign hanging there. Usually, one of us is by the door talking to a delivery driver or checking a manifest. It’s a straightforward life here. Starting small was how it all began for us.
