Down in Liluah, on Kundan Lane, you’ll find Hind Engineering Wire Products. We’re at number 14/1. It’s a basic setup. We deal with wires and engineering stuff. There isn’t much to say about it other than we work hard every day. The lane can be narrow and sometimes it’s a struggle for the delivery trucks to get in and out, but we make it work somehow. Making wire products is a repetitive process, but it requires a lot of attention so things don't go wrong. We aren't looking to become some global empire. We just want to do right by the people who buy from us. The shop floor is where we spend all our time. It’s dusty and noisy, but it feels like home to us. My father started things like this, and we’ve just kept it going for the next generation. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or marketing people. What you see is what you get. Just some machines, a few workbenches, and plenty of wire. Liluah is a busy place with lots of small workshops like ours. We fit right in. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just make the products and try to keep the lights on. It’s a simple life for us on Kundan Lane. There is always a lot to do and not enough hours in the day.
