Lightfx Entertainment Pvt Ltd is based at 28/28/1 Kasundia Road in Howrah. If you know Howrah, you know how the streets are narrow and always full of life. Our building is old and has that specific smell of dust and old concrete. Inside, it is a bit of a mess with lights and metal stands leaning against the walls. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. It is not a shiny showroom. It is a workshop where we test bulbs and fix broken wires. Most days you will find us with grease on our hands or trying to find a tool that someone misplaced. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a lot but it keeps the air moving. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We are just a bunch of guys who know how to put on a show. We load everything into the back of a small truck and head out to wherever the work is. The rain in Howrah can be a problem because the street outside floods easily. We have to keep everything off the floor just in case. It is a simple life and the work is physical. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the lights turn on when they are supposed to. It is just us and our gear on Kasundia Road.
