Khushi Events & Entertainment

You can find us over on Nepal Shah Lane in the Kadamtala area of Howrah. We’re really close to the Heritage Academy High School, which makes it easy for local people to locate us. Khushi Events & Entertainment is run from a small office that stays pretty busy most of the week. It’s not a polished place. We have stacks of papers and old event photos pinned to the walls. We handle local gatherings and small entertainment shows. A lot of our time is spent talking to people who walk in off the street. They want to know about music or how to set up a small stage for a party. We don’t use any corporate jargon here. We just sit down with a cup of tea and figure out what needs to be done. The lane outside can be narrow and crowded, especially when the school lets out, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a very hands-on job. One day we are checking sound cables and the next we are ordering chairs. We don’t have a big fancy website or anything like that. We just rely on being here in Kadamtala and doing honest work for the folks who live around us. It’s a lot of running around, but that’s how we like it. Most of our equipment is stored in the back room, so it smells a bit like dust and old cables, but it works for us.
