Keya Communication & Travels is tucked away at 74/77, Jelia Para Lane. We are right beside New Ma Durga Hardware Stores and near Saha Pariwar School. It’s a lively little corner of Howrah. You can hear the kids at the school during the day and the clatter of the hardware shop next door. Our shop is pretty small. We have a counter and some stools for people to sit on while they wait. We handle a lot of different things here, from phone stuff to travel bookings. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people come in at once. We don't have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that rattles a bit. We’ve been in Jelia Para Lane for years. Everyone around here knows us. We aren't fancy people. We wear our everyday clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to apologize to the customers, but most people understand. It’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. There’s no mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes tacked up. We just want to get through the day’s work and make sure the bookings are correct. It’s a simple way to earn a living and we like it here.
