Deeya Bati

We are located at 11, Hardutta Rai Chamria Road in Howrah. This part of Howrah is quite old and the streets can be narrow and crowded, but that’s just how it is here. Deeya Bati is a small place. We don’t have much room for big groups, but we make it work. Most people who come here are from the nearby offices or live in the apartment blocks around Chamria Road. We've been serving food here for a while, and the place has a bit of a worn-in feel. We haven't changed the furniture in years, but it’s sturdy. The menu is quite limited because we only have a small kitchen. We focus on a few things and try to do them right every day. It gets very humid in the summer, and we just have a couple of fans going, so it’s not the most comfortable place to linger, but people don’t seem to mind. They come for the food, eat, and then head back to work. We don't do any advertising; the people in the neighborhood just know we’re here. It’s a very local, very plain sort of business. We just show up, cook, and go home. If you're in the 711101 area, you can find us easily enough. It’s just down the road from the main junction. Nothing fancy, just a small kitchen doing what it can in a busy city. We keep it simple and honest.
