C S R Associates

C S R Associates is right over at 115, Salkia School Road, directly opposite the Hooghly Dock. It’s an interesting place to be because you can see the activity over at the docks all day long. Salkia is a bustling part of Howrah and our office fits right in. It’s not a very big space, just a front room with some desks and a back area for storage. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a bit. We handle various associate-type tasks and paperwork for folks. The work isn't always exciting, but it keeps us on our toes. We have a couple of fans to keep the air moving since it gets stuffy in the afternoons. Most of our furniture was bought second-hand, so nothing really matches. We don't mind that, as long as the chairs are comfortable enough to sit in for eight hours. We don't have any fancy signs or big posters. Just a small board outside so people know where to turn. Usually, we are busy typing away or talking on the phone with various offices. It’s a lot of mundane stuff like filling out forms and checking details. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news. We’re just a small team trying to keep the business running smoothly. It’s a practical life, and we are happy with it.
