Bose Fountains (Bose Electronics) (P) Ltd.

Our shop is located at No. 52/2 Mahendra Bagchi Road in Bally. It’s an old neighborhood and the street can get pretty crowded during the day. We’ve been working with fountains and electronics for a long time now. It’s a bit of a niche thing, I guess. We spend a lot of time tinkering with pumps and wiring. Sometimes we’re out at a site getting wet while we try to fix a nozzle that’s clogged. Other times, we’re in the back room soldering components. It’s messy work. The floor is usually covered in bits of wire and drops of water. We don't have a shiny showroom. People just come to the workshop and we show them what we're working on. It’s a small team, mostly family and a couple of guys who have been with us for ages. We don't have a big mission statement. We just want the fountains to spray right and the lights to blink when they’re supposed to. If a pump burns out, we take it apart and see if it can be saved before telling someone to buy a new one. That's just how we were taught to do things. Bally is a loud place, but once you get inside our gates, you mostly just hear the sound of water testing. It’s a decent living and we enjoy the technical side of things. It’s not always easy, but it keeps us busy. We mostly eat together in the afternoons and talk about the next project. It works for us.
