Baraman Travels

We are based at 93, Salkia School Road, right near the Naya Mandir. Most of our days are spent at the small desk inside our office, which isn't very big but serves us well. The neighborhood here in Salkia is always busy, especially in the mornings when children are walking to the nearby schools and rickshaws are everywhere. We have been in this spot for a good while now. Many people just stop by to ask about train timings or to see if any bus tickets are available for the weekend. It is a simple setup with a couple of plastic chairs for visitors. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just sit near the doorway to catch the breeze. The Naya Mandir is the best landmark to find us because these lanes can get confusing for someone not from around here. We don't have a huge staff or a fancy computer system. It’s mostly just us looking through schedules and writing things down in a ledger. My cousin usually helps with the paperwork when things get a bit hectic. We try to be practical about everything. If you want to go to the mountains or just need a car for the day, we look at what is possible. It’s a local business, and we know most of the people who walk past our sign every day. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets.
