Ashoka Exporters

Our office is at 110/1 Dharamtalla Road in Ghusuri. It’s an area that has a lot of industrial history and the building shows its age a bit. Being Ashoka Exporters means we deal with a lot of logistics and heavy crates. The road outside is usually full of lorries trying to navigate the turns. Inside the office, it’s mostly desks piled with ledgers and shipping forms. We don't have a modern setup with fancy furniture. It’s more about having a place to handle the paperwork and coordinate the loads. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we’re always wiping down the computers. We’ve been operating out of Ghusuri for quite some time now. The staff consists of a few people who have been here since the start. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where the containers are. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down for a few minutes. Every day brings a different set of challenges with the shipping schedules. We just take things as they come and try to keep the workflow moving. It’s a simple operation at the end of the day, and we usually lock up as soon as the last truck leaves the depot.
