Oxford World Senior Secondary School

Our school, Oxford World Senior Secondary School, is situated in Village Sahora Dadyal. It’s part of the Mukerian Tehsil in Hoshiarpur. Being out here in the village means we have a bit more space than schools in the middle of a big city. The air feels a little different here. We have students coming in from all around the 146001 area. Most of the time, the school is just a hum of voices coming from the classrooms. We have the senior secondary classes here, so the students are a bit older and sometimes a bit louder than the little ones. The playground gets a lot of use during the breaks. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy marketing people. It’s just us teachers and the office staff trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the power goes out, or the bus gets a flat tire, and we just deal with it as it happens. That's just life in a rural school. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the building has seen a lot of students pass through. It’s a practical place. We focus on the books and the sports field. People in Mukerian know where to find us if they need to talk about their kids' grades. It’s a straightforward setup. We show up, teach the classes, and go home to our own families in the evening. There isn't any mystery to it. We just try to keep the classrooms clean and the students busy with their work until the afternoon comes and they all head back home.
