We’ve been here in Champdani Natun Para for quite a while now. Our office is tucked away on R.K.M. Bye Lane, which isn't the easiest place for newcomers to find if they aren't from around here in Baidyabati. We handle a lot of engineering and consulting stuff, mostly dealing with mechanical parts and industrial needs that come our way from different factories in the Hooghly area. It gets pretty humid in this part of West Bengal, especially during the monsoon months, but we just keep the fans running and get on with the work. The team here isn't very large, just a few of us who know the ropes and how things ought to be done. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, drawings, and a lot of tea being made in the small pantry. People around here know us as the folks who fix things or tell them how to set up their machines. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is just how it is in this neighborhood. We usually just step out for a bit or wait it out while talking about the next project. Life moves at its own pace in this lane. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in Kolkata, just trying to do our part and keep the machines running for whoever needs us. It's practical work that keeps us busy from morning until we lock up in the evening.
