M.N.Dastur & Co (P) Ltd is based in Rishra, over on R.K. Road at 62/E/1. This part of Hooghly has a lot of history when it comes to industry, so it makes sense for us to be here. The office is in an older building that has seen a lot of years go by. It isn't the most modern place you have ever seen, but it is sturdy and it serves its purpose for our engineering and consulting work. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the local factories and projects in this industrial belt. The pace here is steady, and we have a lot of regulars who have been working with us for decades. We don't bother with fancy slogans or trying to look more important than we are. We are just folks who understand machines, plants, and technical drawings. The road outside can get a bit noisy with all the trucks and traffic, but we are used to it by now. It’s part of the life of being in an industrial town like Rishra. We have a tea break every afternoon, and that’s when we usually catch up on the local news or talk about the projects we have on hand. There isn't any corporate polish here, just honest work and people who know their trade inside and out. It’s a practical way to run things and it has worked for us for a long time now. We just keep our heads down and get on with it.
