Jiva Web Technology (Opc) Private Limited is located out in Chandannagar. We are at Barasat Garer Dhar, which is a lot more relaxed than the busy streets of central Kolkata. Our office is set up at the place of Anath Bandhu Ghosh. It is a personal and local setup rather than a big corporate office in a business park. We handle web technology and other internet work from this quiet corner of town. Chandannagar has a lot of history and it is a nice place to walk around during a break. Our workspace is pretty basic and we do not have anything fancy. We have our computers and a decent internet connection, which is really all we need to do our jobs. There are only a few of us here who know how to build things for the web. We work long hours when we have a project due, but the neighborhood is quiet enough that we can actually focus without much distraction. We do not have a lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We like the slower pace of life here compared to the big city. We do not spend money on big advertisements. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just knowing someone who knows us. It is an honest way to work and stay busy.
