Jems Caterer

Jems Caterer is our small business here at 18 L M B Street in Serampore. We’ve been working out of this address for a good while now. It’s a quiet enough street, though the mornings get busy when we’re loading up the van with tiffins and big containers. We mostly do food for the local folks around Serampore. There isn't a lot of mystery to what we do. We just cook the meals that people like for their birthdays or small family gatherings. Our kitchen at 18 L M B Street isn't massive, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time cleaning fish and peeling potatoes. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s always someone in the back busy with something. We don't have a fancy office with chairs for people to sit in. Usually, customers just stand by the door and tell us what they need for their date. We write everything down in a big notebook we keep on the counter. The recipes haven't changed much over the years. We stick to what we know. Serampore is a nice place to work because we know the shortcuts to get the food delivered while it's still hot. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the food is ready on time and tastes like it should. It’s just us doing our daily work on L M B Street. It is what we have done for years.
