Innovation. We are in Goalapra, which is part of the Sirampur-Uttarpara area. The name might sound a bit grand for what we are. It’s just a small unit on a quiet street. We don't have a big glass front or anything. It's an old building with high ceilings. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it. There is a lot of greenery outside which is nice. We do a mix of things here. Mostly fixing equipment and making small metal pieces. It's a lot of manual work. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than I do. We start early when the air is still cool. By the afternoon it gets quite stuffy. We usually stop for a bit of tea and some biscuits around four. Sirampur is a good place to be. It’s not as chaotic as the main city. You can actually walk around without getting pushed. We don't have a big sign out front. People just know where we are. We don't do any big promotions. We just do the work as it comes in and try to stay out of trouble. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. It isn't anything fancy but it's our place and we like it.
