If you’re at Millan Chowk, you’ve probably seen our shop. We’ve been here for a good while, right in the middle of all the traffic and noise. It’s a small place, mostly filled with monitors, keyboards, and boxes of spare parts. We do a bit of everything—fixing broken screens, cleaning out dust from old towers, and helping people set up their first home computers. The shop is usually a bit of a mess because there’s always a project half-finished on the counter. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who like tinkering with electronics. Customers come in with all sorts of problems, some easy and some that take us all day to figure out. We don't use a lot of technical jargon; we just tell people what’s wrong and how much it’ll cost to fix. The air conditioner struggles in the summer, so we usually have a big fan blowing by the door. The shelves are sagging a bit under the weight of all the old hard drives we've collected. We don't really throw anything away because you never know when someone will need a specific part for an old machine. It’s a local spot where people drop off their laptops on the way to the market. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep the doors open six days a week.
