At Madhav Institute Of Kids Development, we spend our days at Plot No -10 in Agrawal Colony. We are right on the main road, so it is easy for parents to drop their kids off. Being near Bal Bharati Senior Secondary School and the Bhattu Road intersection means there is always a lot of activity around us. Our place isn't like those big, cold centers you see in the city. It is more of a home-like environment where kids can just be themselves while they learn basic things. We have a few rooms set up with mats and toys and some drawing boards. Most of the staff are women from the local colony who have kids of their own. We started this because we wanted a place where children could grow without too much pressure. Some days are loud with kids running around and others are quiet when they are all focused on a puzzle or a painting. We don't follow a very rigid schedule, but we make sure everyone stays busy and safe. The building has a small front area where parents stand and chat when they come to pick up their little ones. It feels like a small family here. We know every child's name and what makes them laugh. We try to keep the windows open for the breeze when it's not too dusty. It is just a local place doing its part for the neighborhood children in Agrawal Colony.
