Our local office for J.K. Cement Ltd. is located at Hn-1208 in U.E.-2, Sector-12, over here in Hisar. It is basically a residential house that we have converted into our workspace, which gives it a much more relaxed feeling than a standard office. Alok Buxi is the person you will usually find managing things here. We deal with all the cement requirements for this part of Haryana. Hisar is a place with very strong seasons; it gets incredibly hot in the summer and quite cold in the winter, and we are here through all of it. Our day-to-day work is mostly about talking to local builders and making sure the bags get to the right plots on time. It is a very straightforward operation with no fancy decorations or corporate branding everywhere. We have a couple of desks and some old chairs, and we spend a lot of time looking at delivery schedules. Most of the people who come by are folks we have known for years. We have built those relationships just by being around and being consistent. We do not follow a script when we talk to people. We just give them the information they need and try to help them out with their construction projects. It is just regular work for us, and we do it without any big fuss or complicated systems. That is how we like to run things in Hisar.
