Sh Shiv Nandan H S School

Sh Shiv Nandan H S School is out in Bamauli village. We are part of the Luheta post area in Hathras. Being a village school, things are a bit slower and quieter here than in the big cities. The school is surrounded by a lot of open space. We have a simple building that the locals helped put together years ago. It’s not very fancy, just some classrooms and a small office. Most of the kids come from the nearby farms. They walk here through the paths between the fields. We don't have a big yellow bus or anything like that. The teachers are mostly local folks too. We focus on the basics of high school subjects. Sometimes when it rains heavily, the roads get a bit muddy and fewer kids show up, but we stay open regardless. We have a small yard where we hold morning assembly. You can hear the prayers and the national anthem echoing across the fields. It’s a peaceful place to work. We don’t have computers in every room or anything like that. We use what we've got. It’s an honest place where we try to help the village kids get an education so they have more choices later on. We’ve been here in Bamauli for a long time and everyone knows us. We just keep the school running for the sake of the families in this area who rely on us. It is hard work but it matters.
