You can find our shop at Plot No. 12D on Idgah Road in Jwala Pur. It is a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door. We handle plastic goods and have been doing so for many years. The shop is often filled to the ceiling with different items, which makes it look a bit crowded, but we know exactly where every single piece is stored. We open the shutters early in the morning and usually don't close them until late in the evening. There is no air conditioning here, so we rely on the breeze from the door and a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day long. We don't bother with any marketing or big advertisements because most people in Jwala Pur already know who we are. Our receipts are still written out by hand in carbon copy books. It takes a bit longer, but it feels more personal that way. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come by to see what’s new, and we don't mind them hanging around for a bit. The walls are a bit faded and we have stacks of boxes in the corners, but it is a functional space. We are just local people running a local business. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to make sure the work gets done right and our customers are treated fairly.
