Our workshop is located at Plot Number 48 in the Bhel Number 6 industrial area of Bahadrabad. It is a noisy part of town because of all the other factories and the heavy trucks moving on the main road. The building itself is a standard industrial shed with high ceilings and a lot of metal scrap lying around. We spend our days operating the machines and making sure the production stays on track. It is not the cleanest place to work since there is always grease and metal dust on the floor. We wear old clothes because everything gets stained pretty fast here. There is a small office in the corner where we keep the paperwork, but most of the time we are out on the floor. The heat in the summer makes the metal roof quite hot, so we take breaks in the shade when we can. We started this place a while back and have just stayed in this same spot. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the area that need specific parts or repairs done. We don't have any fancy signs or a reception area. If someone needs us, they usually just walk through the big front gates. It is a straightforward operation where we focus on getting the tasks finished before the day ends.
