Kankhal is a special part of Haridwar, and that’s where you’ll find Kaushik Sanskriti Manch. We’ve been around here for quite a while now. It’s a place where things are traditional and move at a slower pace than the main city. We don’t have a big office building or anything like that. It’s just a local spot where we gather and do our work. Haridwar gets very crowded during the festivals, so Kankhal feels a bit more grounded. We focus on our local culture and just try to keep things going. It isn't a business that looks for big profits or anything. We just like being part of the community here. If you come looking for us, just ask around in Kankhal. Most people know where the Manch is. We spend our evenings talking about upcoming events or just catching up on what needs to be done. It’s a very simple way of living and working. There’s no corporate structure or managers telling us what to do. We just know our roles and we do them because we’ve been doing them for years. The air here by the river is different, and we just try to reflect that in how we handle our daily tasks. It's just us, doing our bit for the town. Sometimes the monkeys around the temples cause a bit of trouble, but we just laugh it off. It is just another day here in Haridwar for us.
