Ham Safar Musical Group

We are located on Kankhal Road in Haridwar, right near Singh Dwar. It’s a spot where there’s always people moving around, especially pilgrims and locals going about their day. We are a group that does music, mostly for local functions and family gatherings. Our office is more like a meeting room where we keep our instruments and practice when it’s quiet. We have dholaks, harmoniums, and some basic sound equipment stacked against the walls. It’s not a fancy studio, just a place for us to get together. We’ve been playing together for a long time, so we know each other's styles pretty well. Most of our bookings come from people walking in or calling after seeing us at a neighbor’s event. Haridwar has its own rhythm, and we try to fit into that as best as we can. Some days we are traveling to nearby villages, and other days we are just here maintaining the instruments. The humidity near the river can be tough on the wooden parts of the instruments, so we have to be careful with them. We aren't trying to be big stars; we just like the music and the way it brings people together at a function. If you’re near Singh Dwar, you might hear us tuning up or practicing a new song. It’s a simple life, focused on the songs and the next performance. We take things as they come and try to keep the group going.
