We are basically just a group of local farmers who decided to team up to make the business side of things a little easier for everyone. Farming on your own is a tough way to make a living, so having this company helps us manage the cropping and selling part of it better. We aren't some big city firm with suits and expensive shoes. We wear our work clothes and spend most of our time talking about the soil, the rain, and how the crops are looking this week. Our office in Khadkadi is where we get together to plan the next season or figure out where to send the harvest. It is a lot of practical talk and not much else. We deal with different types of crops depending on what time of year it is. Sometimes we have plenty of grain and other times it is something else entirely. The village is a quiet place and that suits us just fine. We don't have a PR department to write nice things about us. We just write down what needs to be done and then we go out and get it finished. It’s hard work with long hours, but that is just how it has always been for us.
