Out here in Anthargam, at house 2-35, is where we set up Anthargom Turmeric Farmers Producercompany Limited. It is a local group of farmers who mostly grow turmeric in the fields nearby. We realized that working by ourselves was getting harder each year, so we formed this company to pool our resources. The village of Anthargam is small, and most of us have known each other since we were kids. When it is time to harvest the turmeric, the whole place gets busy. We spend our days checking the roots and making sure everything is drying correctly. It is not a very formal setup, just a group of people who know how to farm trying to make a living. Sometimes we meet at the house to discuss prices or who needs help with their soil. It gets a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once, but we manage. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and our turmeric. The weather usually dictates what we do most days. If it rains, we wait. If it is sunny, we are out there working. That is just how life goes in this part of the world, and the company is just a part of that rhythm.
