Umadevi Internet

This internet shop of ours is in Chinnaraopet, which is part of the Regonda area. The address is H. No -Chinnaraopet if you need to find us. We started this place because we saw that a lot of people in our village didn't have a way to get online or print out their documents. We have about five computers set up along the wall and a big printer that is almost always running. It gets a bit noisy in here with the sound of the fans and the printer going all day. Students from the local schools come here a lot to do their research or to print out their homework assignments. We also help some of the older folks with their online forms and applications since it can be confusing for them. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job for an hour or so. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a real pain, but we just wait for it to come back on like everyone else in Regonda. We keep some basic supplies like pens and paper for sale too. It’s a small space and it can get quite warm when there are a lot of people inside. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s a good way to help out the locals and earn a living.
