K Anand

My setup is located in Venkatapur, which is part of the Zaffargud mandal in Warangal. The address is actually the same place where Rajkumar, the son of Rajender, lives. I, K Anand, use this space to handle my daily business. It is a very rural setting, so don’t expect any skyscrapers or paved sidewalks. The dust from the road gets everywhere when the wind picks up. We have a small room with a table and a few chairs where we sit and talk. Most of the people around here are farmers or small traders. The village life is slow, and we don't have the constant pressure you find in a big city. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we have to be patient with our work. It is a simple life where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We have the pin code 506003 for our mail, but mostly things come by hand. I’ve known Rajkumar’s family for a long time, and being based here makes sense for the work I do. There aren't any fancy titles or formal meetings. We just sit together, have some tea, and figure out what needs to be done for the day. Warangal can be quite beautiful after the monsoon rains, but the rest of the year it is just a lot of sun and hard work. It's an honest living and we just take it one day at a time without much fuss.
