Prabhatshankar

I am over at the Shivalic Boys Hostel in Hamirpur. Room 19. It is not a big office or anything fancy, just a small spot where I get things done. Being in a hostel means there is always noise around, but you get used to it after a while. I have been doing this for a bit now under the name Prabhatshankar. It is mostly just me here. The walls are a bit thin, and the internet can be spotty when everyone else is online, but it works for what I need. People sometimes ask why I am running things from a hostel room, but it is where I am right now. It is practical. I keep my desk mostly clear, though papers tend to pile up by the end of the week. Hamirpur is a decent place to be, even if it gets quiet in the evenings. I handle the day-to-day stuff myself, from answering messages to keeping track of the little details that matter. There is no big team or secretary sitting outside the door. Just a laptop, some notebooks, and enough tea to keep me going through the afternoon. It is a simple setup. If you are looking for a shiny corporate building, this isn't it. But the work gets done regardless of the address. I like the independence of it. Just me in room 19, trying to stay organized and make sure everything stays on track for the folks I help out.
