Santosh Iron Store

We are located at Plot No. 7/93 in Joura. It is quite easy to find us because we are near the Jain Mandir Road. The store is basically a large shed where we keep all the iron and construction materials. It's a very local operation. We serve the people in and around Joura who are building houses or fixing up their farms. Dealing with iron is heavy work, so there is always a bit of a mess with rust and scraps lying around. We open the doors pretty early in the morning when the trucks arrive to unload. Sometimes the road gets blocked because the trucks are big and the street isn't that wide, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. If people need something, they just walk in or give us a call on the landline. We write everything down in big ledgers by hand. It’s the way we’ve always done it. The Jain Mandir nearby is a good landmark for people who haven't been to this part of town before. We carry things like TMT bars, angles, and flat irons. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. On hot days, the shed gets really warm, so we spend a lot of time sitting near the front where there's a bit of a breeze. It's just a regular iron store.
