We are here in Gwalior, right next to the Ambika Hotel. If you know the railway station area at Padav, you know it gets pretty busy every single day. That’s exactly where Prakash Steelage Ltd is set up. We spend most of our days dealing with steel stuff and metal inventory. It’s not a fancy place by any means, just a functional workspace where we get things done. Being so near the station means there is always noise from the trains and people moving around outside. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside the office, but we just keep cleaning and working through it. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most locals know the Ambika Hotel as a landmark, so they usually find us without any trouble. The shop area is full of metal pieces and various tools. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls or shiny carpets. It’s just us, some basic chairs, a wooden desk, and a lot of heavy lifting. In the afternoons, it gets quite hot in the warehouse, especially with all the steel around, so we keep the fans running at full speed. People often stop by after getting off their trains or while they are waiting for a ride home. We handle the paperwork and the physical work right here on the ground. It is a simple routine. We start early, open the shutters, and see what needs to be moved or sold.
