K D Production

K D Production is based out of Nilgiri Appt in Balwant Nagar, Gwalior. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty calm compared to the main Lashkar market. We use a couple of rooms here for all our gear and editing work. There are cameras, tripods, and cables everywhere most of the time. It’s not the most organized space, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time out on locations across Gwalior, but this apartment is where all the planning happens. Sometimes we stay up late finishing a project because the deadlines are tight. The neighbors are used to us carrying heavy bags in and out by now. I started this because I liked making things, and it just grew into a full-time job. We have a small team, mostly just friends who know how to handle the equipment. On rainy days, the balcony gets a bit wet, so we have to move the equipment further inside. It’s a simple setup with a few computers and some soundproofing we put up ourselves. We don't have a big storefront with lights, just a small nameplate on the door. People usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing our work at local events. Gwalior is a good place to work because there’s always something happening in Lashkar or near the fort. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It takes time to get things looking right, but we enjoy the process.
