Golden Sound & Light

We have been operating Golden Sound & Light out of Daulat Ganj for quite some time now. Being right on the Main Road in Lashkar means it stays pretty noisy and busy outside our doors from morning until late at night. Most days, the shop is a bit of a mess with speakers, tangled black wires, and heavy light stands leaning against the walls. We spend a lot of our time checking connections and making sure the bulbs aren’t burnt out before we head out to a job. Gwalior gets really hot, so lifting this heavy gear around can be exhausting, especially when the traffic in Lashkar is backed up. It is just me and a few local guys who know how to handle the equipment without dropping anything. We don't really do anything fancy here, just show up at the venue and set things up so people can have their music and lights. Sometimes the electricity at the sites acts up, which is a headache, but we usually figure something out with the generators. It is honest work and it keeps us moving around the city. You will often find us sitting on the bench outside the shop having tea when things are quiet for a minute. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here by name. It is just a regular local business trying to get the work done right.
