We are based at H-97 in Aditya Puram, which is part of DD Nagar here in Gwalior. It’s a residential-turned-commercial kind of area, so it’s pretty lively. Jifsy Pesticides Private Limited is what we call ourselves. We work in the agricultural chemicals sector, which is a serious business. Farmers always have issues with bugs and weeds, so we provide the stuff they need to protect their crops. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s very necessary if you want to actually harvest anything at the end of the season. Our office in Gwalior is where we handle all the orders and keep track of the inventory. We have to be really careful with how everything is stored and handled because of the nature of the products. We aren't some big faceless corporation; we are just a small team in Madhya Pradesh. We talk to a lot of local distributors and sometimes directly to the guys who own the land. There’s a lot of paperwork involved with regulations and safety standards, so someone is usually buried under a pile of forms. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a bit chaotic with the phones ringing and people stopping by. Gwalior is a good place for this kind of work because there are so many farms in the surrounding districts. We just keep our heads down and try to provide a reliable supply of what the local farmers are looking for.
