Jain Offset Printers

Jain Offset Printers is situated in Sabooji Ka Bada, over in the Dal Bazar area of Lashkar. We have been around for a long time. Dal Bazar is a very crowded and busy market. Our shop is right in the thick of it all. There is constant noise from the street vendors and the traffic. We do offset printing mainly. The machines are old but they still work fine if you treat them right and oil them regularly. We don't have any fancy marketing or advertising. People find us because we have been in this spot for years. The shop is often filled with the smell of ink and paper. It is a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together in this part of town. We use tube lights all day long to see what we are doing. Sabooji Ka Bada is a familiar place to us and our families. We know all the other shop owners nearby. It’s a small community where everyone knows everyone else. We don't have a big hierarchy. We all just muck in and get the work done together. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order to finish for a customer. We don't complain about it. It’s just part of the printing trade. The floor is usually covered in paper scraps by the end of the day. We sweep it up and start again the next morning. It is a simple, hardworking life in Lashkar. We just keep our heads down.
