Gupta Dal Mill

Gupta Dal Mill has been sitting here near the Vijay Petrol Pump on the Gwalior Jhansi Road for quite a few years. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always dust and the sound of trucks passing by at all hours. We handle the processing of different types of pulses right here on the premises. The mill isn't a shiny new facility, it’s a working building that shows its age in a few places, but the machinery works just fine. We spend our mornings checking the grain and making sure the machines are running smoothly. It’s dusty work, and you won’t find anyone wearing a suit around here. We usually just wear what is comfortable for a day of manual labor and managing the loaders. The location is convenient because the trucks can pull in easily from the main road after fueling up at the pump next door. We don’t have a website or a social media manager. Most people who buy from us have known the family for a long time. It’s a very local operation. We just focus on getting the dal processed and packed so it can be sent out to the markets. There is no hidden secret to how we do things; we just show up early and stay until the work is finished. It’s a basic life, but it suits us and the way we like to run the business without any extra complications or polished talk.
