Ambic Food Products

Shitole Ka Bada in Lashkar is where we spend most of our time. At Ambic Food Products, the day starts early because that is when the air is still cool and the smell of the food being prepped is the strongest. It is a bit of a maze getting back here, but once you find us, you will see we are just a group of people working around big tables. We deal with various ingredients every day, and there is always a layer of flour or spices on the floor that we have to sweep up before we head home. The building itself is quite old, with thick walls that keep it a bit cooler than the street outside. We don't have any big flashy signs out front. People around here just know us as the place that makes those specific snacks they like. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for the entrance because the lanes in Lashkar are so narrow and crowded with scooters. We just keep the fans running and try to stay on top of the packaging. It isn't a high-tech factory; it is more like a large kitchen where everyone knows their job. We spend a lot of time checking the seals on the bags and making sure the weight is correct on the old scales. It is a lot of manual work, but it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
