S. L. Soni & Sons (J)

We are S. L. Soni & Sons (J), and you can find us in the Ahmed Building. It’s located on H.B. Road, right in the middle of Fancy Bazar. If you know Fancy Bazar, you know how crowded and busy it gets. There are shops everywhere and people are always rushing around. Our place is an old one. The Ahmed Building has been there for years, and it has that classic feel to it. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or modern glass doors. It’s mostly wood and stone. We have been doing this for generations. It’s a family business through and through. My sons are here with me most days. We handle jewelry and related items, which is why we’ve stayed in Fancy Bazar. It’s the heart of trade here. The shop is small and can get very hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We aren't interested in being a big chain. We just like our one spot here on H.B. Road. Customers come in, we have a chat, and we show them what we have. Sometimes we just talk about the news or the weather or how much things have changed. It’s a very personal way of doing things. We’ve known some of our customers since they were kids. It’s not just about the sale; it’s about the community we’ve built over all these years in this market.
